ABOUT US

Founded in 2019 by Dean and Amelie, MAPLANTIC was conceived in a hotel lobby in Berlin on NYE, but our story began four years earlier when we met whilst travelling through Asia. Since making North London our home we searched for two contemporary maps which represented our great native cities, London and Munich. Not completely satisfied with the maps available online we designed our own and that’s when MAPLANTIC was born. With backgrounds in Architecture and Print and Design Exhibitions, MAPLANTIC grew from our passion of good design, fascinating places and the stories they hold. Both cities hang proudly on our wall.
